Recovering

I have many things on my mind right now, but mostly I tried to catch up on sleep and just chilled out with the family on Sunday. I’ve been working pretty much non-stop for the last 3 weeks, and at a pretty intense level before that. When it arrived, it almost went too fast, it seemed; usually I fly to the city the week of the event, and it’s much more demanding with all the travel and such. It has been really wonderful to be able to go home at night (usually well after midnight!) this time around.

When things wind down finally, I get some time to think and process.

Here’s what I’ve been working on these last months.

In that time, I also built and occasionally write at the Portland CityFest blog. You can also watch the Festival streaming live there; check it out!

A Good Day

Days like today was aren’t exactly ones I’ll remember on my deathbed, but today was just good in its ordinariness. Some simple pleasures and experiences that, in sum, make one glad to be alive.
