Wow, I have been in a cave. I had heard a little bit about Remote Buddy, but had no idea it had progressed to this degree of sophistication and control.
Here’s a few screen grabs from a demo video - which is quite effective, as it shows the iPhone remote manipulating a Mac in the background.
What caught my eye was its ability to control a Keynote presentation remotely, and yield quite a lot of control:
And that’s just for work. It can control iTunes, which is perfect if you have an AirPort Express (for linking a Mac to far-flung speakers) or an Apple TV.
If I could get it to control my Comcast HD tuner, now that would be something.
