Iron Man! Hulk2! Heroes, Assemble!

More new comic book films! Hulk 2 (grossly miscast with Edward Horton, IMHO) is coming, and of course you’ve seen the second Iron Man trailer, right?

It never ceases to amaze me: the lasting power of “silly, juvenile” comic book stories to continue to find relevance in our culture. And, how desperate Hollywood is for new ideas.

I love the casting of Robert Downey, Jr. - fresh outta rehab, his dark comic (ha!) wit ready for launch like a plasma blast. Still a great actor.

We just saw the Ironman trailer. Can’t wait to see it, it looks pretty good. Do you remember R.D. Jr. in Weird Science? hahahahaha!

Aww, Weird Science is one of my all-time favorite movies! Esp. the bikers rampaging through the house. I forgot he was in that movie; I always think of Anthony Michael Hall.
