I’ve gone and started a proper blog – yes, one can post comments now! Wait, another blog? Doesn’t he have a couple going already? Doesn’t he know Googling his name points the universe there?

The answer lies partly in sloth and in desire (a spicy concoction!). The sloth: the old blogs are borken and I just don’t feel like fixing them. Upgrading them to Expression Engine isn’t worth the templating effort, though I hate to see all the old posts just… sit here. I’m also sick, sick, sick of the mountains of spam I get at that domain. They spoil all that is good about the Net. Die, spammers, die!

The desire: to write about deeper and broader subjects – faith, politics, personal journeys – things I didn’t feel comfortable writing about on this blog. The original intended audience was always work-oriented, and I wanted a client-safe blog. I want to separate my personal writings from my business and career writings. This is one way to do it.

I can’t promise I’ll always have time to post (3 kids, busy ministry, demanding job, you know the drill), but I can promise that I’ll do my best to write and link to stuff worth your time. So, join me here at AllanWhite.net! I can’t wait to hear from you.
