I post this more as a photographic or cinematographic study than anything. One of the things on my shot list at a festival is to film the pre-event construction. I was drawn to the geometric lines, the huge cumulus in the background, the dark silhouettes deftly working at a steady pace. And then, enjoying the sunset!

This reminds me of an open street fair in the Netherlands. It was a festival day of some sort and they were doing these crazy pole buildings in the middle of the market. I don’t recall having my camera with me, being on the bike as I was shopping that day. I just remember very tall poles and people climbing them as they built with them.
