Since Kristi’s been wondering where all the bloggers have gone, there’s been a bit of an upsurge in our little blog community’s posting frequency. Cool! It wasn’t dead but dormant. Not that I care or anything (riiight).
I’ve started posts several times but have nearly always gotten waylaid or ran out of time before finishing. I’ve started keeping drafts over at Google Docs (love the Docs); they’re great for works in progress, but I’m finding that I lose the spontaneity that was there before. My particular style of blogging is commenting on what’s happening now, not last week. I also like to pepper my posts with lots of other imagery, references and other links. Surprise! That actually takes time and craftsmanship - no news to any seasoned blogger.
So, while I won’t be getting any mega-entries done anytime soon, I am going to try to post a little more. Why bother, Allan? Well, it’s for me, first and foremost. I want the practice and discipline of writing - it helps me find out what I think.
